Miss Mildred Moore spent Saturday with sister in New Providence. Ladies Auxiliary M E Church to meet at Mrs Robert Sayer’s Thursday. Mrs H Moore enjoyed visit with her aunts and husband of Broomfield over the weekend. Kumpton visitors Thursday. Mrs Hey Holtheus spent a few days with her parents near Eldora. Whitten E D Herron and family of Union visited Mrs Jennie Lockard s home. Rev E Knoer returned from Madison Wis church conference. Many locals vacationed near Lone Rock Fairmont and Clear Lake. Fireworks in the park on the fourth and various visits to Marshalltown Eldora Waterloo and Des Moines noted. Church of Christ notes outline services and a Youth Conference in Des Moines.
