In a special election at Iowa Falls last Thursday the dam proposal carried by a large margin while opposition was weak. The plan ties three franchise extensions to a new hydro electric plant beside an upriver dam. Construction must start by fall and finish by June 1926, creating a four mile lake from the dam to the Minors Central bridge.
