Teachers Honored At Legion Hall Reception

Judy Gast reports a teachers reception held Friday at 7 30 p m at the Legion hall. Sponsored by Progress and Social Hour clubs, members decorated tables with yellow nasturtiums and marigolds. Yellow candles, brown napkins, and a yellow tablecloth complemented the color theme.

Evening program with Leo Knight hosts teachers’ event

Master of ceremonies Leo Knight led the program as Frank Cervetti played trumpet, Joan Cervetti sang two songs with Dennis Holmes, and Karen Beane played flute with Dennis Holmes. Rev Marquardt of First Baptist and Rev Mohr of First Presbyterian welcomed teachers and invited them to attend their churches.
