Ray Anderson, division manager for the Iowa Electric Light and Power Co. in Eldora, runs unopposed for the Area IV directorship on the Hardin County Board of Education in the Sept. 21 school election. The three year term starts Oct. 1, 1978, with eligibility limited to residents of New Providence Union-Whitten Eldora districts excluding Ellis and Jackson townships. He would replace Dr. W. G. Eldora Community School district voters will decide on a two and one half mill schoolhouse tax levy for seven years. The measure funds acquisition of grounds and buildings, debt payments, and libraries, with a 60 year old building and 50 year old heating system guiding plans for an education complex. The levy could be ended early by petition, and funds cannot be used for repairs or to finance long leases.
