Pvt. Charles E. Wall 22 of Hardin County Iowa Falls died after a three day illness from polio at Fort Riley Kansas base hospital. He was born April 14 1930 at Burdette later moving to Iowa Falls with his parents. Surviving parents a sister Mrs Clifford Ansdahl McCallsburg his fiancee Miss Mariane Yetley and his French ponier Mrs Nellie Stocka.

Funeral services for Otis Fremont Pulis age 63 are set for Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Iowa Falls Baptist Church. Rev. Clark Crowell will officiate with burial in Union Cemetery. He died Wednesday at his Iowa Falls home from a heart ailment. Born January 28, 1889 in Correctionville, he moved to Iowa Falls in 1890 and married Alice Stanfield in 1917 at Marshalltown.
