Leonard Blair was admitted to El Dora hospital Friday then moved to Iowa City Sunday after several heart attacks. Numerous Eldora residents and visitors attended gatherings at Hubbard and Eldora homes, with many families mentioned including Taber, Brandt, Jeske, Beasley, Eagen, and Reece. The Pleasant township 4-H booster party and various dinners and church events were noted along with travel to Iowa Falls and San Diego connections.
Rumblings favor shorter campaigns and a six game Hawkeyes schedule. A Red Cap misrouting at Minneapolis depot sent Joe and Mrs Kramer’s luggage into Wisconsin, leaving them short on attire for the SUI Minnesota game. Luggage was found Sunday night, just before their Rocket train home.
