Local Eldora questions stir political and consumer curiosity
Local readers weigh the Hardin county courthouse balance with Democrats and a possible challenge to Mr Gallop. A suggestion notes a Republican courthouse in Iowa favoring Truman for the nomination. Questions arise about the proposed Community building after the Legion offer and other local matters including weekend Western Union telegrams, grocery prices, and a new Eldora tea room.
