Funeral services for Asa W. Manning 83 were held Wednesday June 19 at Salem United Methodist Church Hubbard with Rev Arthur Wrankhauser officiating. Interment in Hubbard Cemetery Boeke Funeral Home Hubbard handled arrangements. Manning died Saturday afternoon at Eldora Community Hospital after Friday stroke. Born May 8 Hubbard to Edward Manning and Matilda Manning he married Mabel Sogird at Fort Dodge June 17 1916. He lived in Hubbard most of his life worked as painter and interior decorator until retirement. Surviving are his wife and brother Dell Manning of Salinas California.
