Erickson Survives Crash With Train At Eldora Crossing
Pine Lake resident Mel C Erickson plant foreman at Infanseat Co escaped serious injury when his 1964 Rambler collided with a Chicago and Northwestern train engine at the Eldora Industrial Park crossing. The impact pushed the car about 30 feet. minor bruises and a small head laceration noted. The engine sustained no damage and the car was a total loss.
