The July meeting of the Union Peppy Pals Girls 4 H Club was held at the home of assistant leader Mrs Charles Haywood. Ten members answered roll call with project plans. Three members Virginia Miller Karen Walton and Audrey Mabe will attend county camp.
The Lawn Hill Ladies Aid gathered Thursday with 25 members at the lawn Hill church. Mrs. Noah Reece presided, with Mrs. Clair Clingerman assisting. Members exchanged fancy work, donated dress prints for the bazaar, and planned refinishing of the church floor plus a new carpet for the platform. Future hosts were named as Mrs. Loyd Dooley and Mrs. Clint Johnson. Various neighbors visited, hosted dinners, and engaged in social gatherings across Lawn Hill, Eldora, Marshalltown, Union, Radcliffe, and nearby towns. Canadian visitor Mrs. Albert Greenfield from Young Saskatchewan is noted.

A Belle Plaine family spent Sunday with the Don Dickerson home. Marlyn Mossman and family of Radcliffe visited the E. E. Reece and Noah Reece homes Sunday.
