Rites Held For Former Radcliffe Resident Mrs Strader
Rites conducted Saturday afternoon at Marathon Methodist Church for Celia Meland Strader 60 former Radcliffe resident who died suddenly from a heart attack at her Marathon home Friday morning. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Meland and widow of J. F. Strader. Survived by three daughters, two sons, husband, four sisters and several grandchildren. burial in Marathon Cemetery.

Train Bird Dogs After July 15
Upland bird hunters are reminded by the Conservation Commission that it will again be lawful to train bird dogs in the wild after July 15. The training season is closed March 15 to July 15 to protect nesting birds from disturbance by dogs. Some upland game birds may desert nests if disturbed during brooding.
