Campus renovation overhaul boosts facilities this summer
The college completed about 100000 dollars in repairs and remodeling across Donner Lynn Goodrich Clas sic and Hendricks halls. A new Donner Hall lecture hall replaces Long Gymnasium ballroom while Parker Auditorium seats are reclad. Lynn gym hosts trainer equipment including an ultrasound therapy tool. Education department moves to the old bookstore with a seminar room and curriculum library. New language lab facilities in Hendricks Hall and updated lighting in Classic and Goodrich halls are highlighted.

A formal banquet and official ceremony will honor Mr. J Graham Brown and officially open the Brown Campus Center September 8 to 10. Senator Morton of Kentucky will give the banquet address to 350 guests. Dedication at 10 am Saturday with open facilities, first student meal at noon, and a ball at 8 pm. Elgart Band cancelled. Ralph Flannigan Orchestra booked. Open house Sunday 2 to 5 pm with thousands expected.

New Women’s Dean Named at Small College
Barbara Quilling is named dean of women at a small college, citing a desire to know students personally. New Students Begin Hanover Style Orientation Week
