Juniors Discuss Revonah Subscription Plans

The Junior class held a chapel meeting to discuss the Revonah project for this year. The Revnah committee reported, and a canvass of students and alumni for subscriptions was ordered before proceeding with annual book work. George Amick and Harry Hege remain on staff. William Culley elected Editor in Chief. William Mace named Assistant Business Manager.

President King of Moores Hill Resigns

Dr. Harry A. King, president of Moores College, resigned at a board meeting last Monday after seven years of service. He has accepted the presidency of Clerk University in Atlanta, Georgia, offered by the Methodist Board of Education. Dr. A. J. Bigney was elected president and Professor Charles E. Torrett was elected vice president.

Hanover Romps Past Kentucky Military Institute 27 to 7

Hanover dominated Kentucky Military Institute with a 27 to 7 victory. Coach Rider starred, scoring three touchdowns including early 40 yard run establishing the lead, while AK M I blocked a punt and recovered on the 3 yard line.

Bloomington to host final basketball tournament this year

At the Indiana High School Athletic Association annual meeting on October 28, Bloomington was chosen to hold the final basketball tournament with the same sectional setup as last year. The state track meet request from Indianapolis was denied and eligibility requirements were debated.

Fire consumes Moore Hall at Moors Hill College

A devastating blaze swept Moors Hill College Thursday burning the old building known as Moore Hall A defective flue is suspected as the cause of the fire.

Fire damages Gore Hall at Moores Hill college

Fire broke out around 10 in the roof of Gore Hall, part of the preparatory department, with wind aiding spread. Seven pianos survived along with most contents. insurance was $5,000 and total loss estimated at $15,000. Other buildings were saved by a bucket brigade of students and townsfolk. college classes continued in other rooms as plans for a new building were approved.

On Friday October 29 the Hanover Teachers Association held a luncheon at Blocks tea room in Indianapolis with about forty members present. Butler defeats Hanover 20 to 7 in Indianapolis. Butler scores early with a 5 minute drive and Bonham 40 yard TD run. Agnew 25 yard TD and James 25 yard run with Trotter and Good adding points. Hanover comes close late but cannot overtake.

Dedication and Sermon at Madison Church Event

Warren E Bull spent the weekend in Indianapolis while Rev W Covert preached the dedication sermon for the new Madison Wisconsin church Sunday forenoon and spoke to University of Wisconsin students in the afternoon. A number of visitors attended the open meeting of the Chrestomathan Literary Society last Friday afternoon.
