The Junior class held a chapel meeting to discuss the Revonah project for this year. A devastating blaze swept Moors Hill College Thursday burning the old building known as Moore Hall A defective flue is suspected as the cause of the fire.

Fire broke out around 10 in the roof of Gore Hall, part of the preparatory department, with wind aiding spread. Seven pianos survived along with most contents. insurance was $5,000 and total loss estimated at $15,000. Other buildings were saved by a bucket brigade of students and townsfolk. college classes continued in other rooms as plans for a new building were approved.
