Hanover Tennises Players Fall to Butler in State Meet
Hanover duo R. F. Miller and C. E. Moffett lost to Butler’s Baker in singles and to Baker and Richardson in doubles as Indiana state competition unfolded in Indianapolis. Indiana and Purdue faced setbacks, while local players were worn from a busy week including a Glee Club trip to Louisville.

The Point House girls hosted the faculty ladies with a four to six afternoon visit last Thursday. Guests were greeted at the door and toured the rooms before being invited to the east lawn for seating and mingling. Music by Misses Kehoe Cain and Rutledge accompanied fruit punch and cakes at the end.

Blanche Ryker read Life at the Dorm and Mabel Tweedy Contentment. Declams included Bravery by Freda Bach What Constitutes a State by Fern Britan and A Steamer Chair by Hazel Bussabarger. A heated debate on Judicial Recall favored the negative with Katheryn Rutledge Hazel Bussabarger Edith Johnson on the affirmative and Blanche Ryker Pauline Tull Cora Miller on the negative.

The Revonah, published by the class of 1913, arrived Monday and went on sale with many orders already filled. Printers call Hanover’s Annual among their best this year and Champ lin press has issued seventeen. Binding varies blue cloth with gold lettering or tan leather. The book includes a notable piece Picturesque Hanover by Miss Harriet Harding and the 1912 editors receive praise.

Summer Session Opens June 12 Under Two Professors

Commencement Week At Hanover Promises Grand Gatherings
The college prepares for its seventy ninth annual commencement as exams end June 7. Enrollment has risen and the year has been prosperous with high scholarship and strong student activity.
