Shera To Reign As May Day Queen Tonight

Hanover College Theatre presents The Three Penny Opera by Brecht and Weill. Hanover College Family Day features queen, court, and campus events

Hanover College invites families for a full Family Day on campus with Queen Shera Banbury presiding. Registration runs 6:00 to 10:00 near Greek houses, a reception at President Horner’s home, a crowning ceremony at Parker Auditorium, and court processions. A buffet lunch at Donner Hall, tours of the Administration Building, a triangular track meet, and performances of Three Penny Opera cap the day.

Class Presents Programs Over Station WORX

During a five week term the Radio and Television course airs a 20 minute program each Saturday at 9 10 over Madison station WORX The Hanover Forum features a student discussion with the campus professor and a brief campus newscast The Family Day program tomorrow highlights activities and includes a discussion from Dr George Zirkles Personality Disorders class.

African Project To Be CF's Sunday Program

Jan McKee of DePauw University will discuss Operation Crossroads Africa at the Campus Fellowship Sunday Seminar at 6 15 PM on May 10. The interdenominational summer student exchange program allows living with African families and visiting other countries. All interested in participating or hearing about past experiences are invited. Father Charles Edward Ford of Christ Episcopal Church Madison will discuss the Episcopal Liturgical Calendar on May 17.

Poet Wiggam To Return To Hanover As Resident

Poet Lionel Wiggam returns to Hanover for a two week stay as Poet in Residence living with Dr. Raymond Struck and headquartered in the vacant Robert Trimble office while campus activities coordinate through Dr. Edward Lueders. He will lecture on Lyricism in Modern Fiction and Lyric versus the Lyric on Broadway at Parker Auditorium with talks on May 17 and May 21 at 7 30 p m open to the public. He also judges this year’s Hill Thoughts Awards and will attend the Indiana University Writers Conference in July.

Institute To Feature New Africa at Hanover Institute

The Hanover Institute will host a four day program March 3 to 6 focusing on Africa's current role in world affairs. It will include an African play or a play about Africa and African music with committees soliciting campus input and chair positions opening for juniors and seniors.
