Hixon Interprets By laws PAF in Elections
Hixson rules the by laws allow Public Affairs elections to proceed as announced. He calls the March 26 1967 petition date a typographical error and says the date was meant to be changed before the election. Linda Dills notes the by laws were legally changed to that date but not updated in time. Rick Fisher and Barry Wright will speak at next week's meeting. Dills says the women's judicial board will operate now and hold fireside chats in living units. Hanover Falls To Eastern Michigan In High-Scoring Battle
Hanover trailed by 13 at halftime as Eastern Michigan used a 10-0 run and a 29-point spread to lead 63-34 with 18:40 left. Hanover rallied late but 94-81 final score reflected EMU’s control. St Pierre led Hanover with 20 points and 20 rebounds, Gabriel 26 for Hanover, Simons 22 for EMU.

Students elect IRC and WRA leaders in campus elections
Bette Garratt, a junior sociology major from New Jersey, was elected president of the Inter-Residence Council, with Elisa Baker as vice president and Priscilla Craig and Patty Warren as officers. Sue Straley won the presidency of the Women’s Recreation Association, with Jean Rasmussen as vice president and Sue Hoffman and Sue Graves on the slate. Applications for WRA executive board due March 21 and for Public Affairs Forum by March 26, requiring twenty five signatures. PAF, class officers, and Student Senate president elections set for March 28. Kennings submissions deadline extended to March 29. Prose and art submissions welcomed.
