Hanover Loses Out After Tough Week of Basketball
Hanover closed the season with three straight losses. State Normal edged them 13 to 12 in a rough Thursday night game. Friday Rose Poly at Terre Haute defeated them 55 to 2. At Franklin Hanover played well in the first half but faded, Franklin winning 20 to 10.

Alumni Samuel D Luckett dies at fifty nine in Virginia
Samuel D Luckett, class of 1874, died February 23 at his Dunn Loring Virginia home of paralysis at age 59. He studied in Corydon Indiana, graduated Hanover with high honors, practiced law in Bedford and Wilmington, and held a Land Department appointment under Cleveland. Reverend William A Stanton, class of 1875, represented Hanover College at Pittsburg University anniversary events February 27-29. Delegates from 188 institutions attended.
