Hanover seeks strong 1911 basketball schedule

Manager Harry Voris faces difficulty arranging games but has secured a nine game slate. The team will host five games at Hanover and travel for four, including matchups with Moores Hill Miami University State Normal DePauw Franklin and Ohio Wesleyan. A spring baseball schedule will be announced next month.

Academy Grades Reveal Strong Honor Roll Performance

The Academy posted solid grades this term matching last year’s first term. Twenty students earned honor roll status with averages above nine, led by Miss Mary Hlowk at 9.75 earning Summa cum Laude. Magna cum Laude went to five students, and a list of others above nine followed in alpha order.

Hanover College to Improve Physics Lab and Gym

Plans move forward to upgrade the Physics laboratory at Hanover College with a new lab space and advanced equipment including a Winshurst X ray machine and Atwood’s machine. Trustees also eye expanding gymnasium equipment and maintain a top basketball floor used for most college events in Hanover and Madison.
