Golden anniversary noted for Tau Gamma Delta chapter
Graduates from near and far gathered in Hanover to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the local Tau Gamma Delta chapter. The event drew fifty nine chapters, with an open house and banquet. notable attendees included E. V. Schockley P.D. and Dr. Wilmer Christian. A new girls basketball team emerged under Miss Fern Brittan as sophomores challenged others, and Florence Emery prepared a team lineup.

All-College Team Beats Seniors in Weekend Basketball
In a Saturday night contest the college team defeated the Senior Class 25 to 19 after a close first half that ended 11 11. Key scorers included Ray Hufford and F James for the college while Swann led the Seniors with 11 points. Due to absences a planned H-m En lineup was incomplete and a rematch may be scheduled later.
