The season opened with Juniors vs Seniors and Freshmen vs Sophomores. Freshmen beat Sophomores 23 to 18 while Seniors overwhelmed Juniors 34 to 22. McNulty led Freshmen. Montgomery starred for Sophomores with notable fouls. Rogers and Culley highlighted the Seniors.
Thursday featured the closest contest of the series as the Juniors defeated the Freshmen 25 to 24. Manaugh sealed victory with a late foul as Paulus starred for the Freshmen and McNulty and Manaugh led the Juniors. Seniors beat Sophomores 32 to 15 in the other half with rough play noted.

The A B program now requires more hours than similar programs in the state, with new additions including recitals and expanded academic work in English foreign language philosophy and history.
