Hungarian settlement exhibit extended at state archives
A glass encased time capsule exhibit detailing nearly a century of Hungarian life in the United States remains in the Louisiana State Archives building through June. Curated by the Arpadhon Hungarian Settlement Cultural Association, the display features 15 cases of photos, documents, tools, farming gear, embroidery, and household items from eastern Livingston Parish. The artifacts will join permanent records on microfilm, preserving immigrant history for future generations.

Springfield fugitives nabbed in Mississippi with explosives
