Baton Rouge developer plans a 72 room Comfort Inn in Hammond at Interstate 12 and Southwest Railroad Avenue. Civil engineer C G Patel will seek a building permit next week for the 900000 project with a November opening. The two story brick and stucco motel will have 12 by 27 foot rooms, a pool, continental breakfast, and rates aimed around 40 to 44 dollars to beat national average. Patel will manage operations with his wife Ela Patel as general manager of Select Inn Gonzales set to oversee this property.
