Former Hammond Airport manager suit heads to court Monday
A discrimination case in New Orleans stars Lucy Stoulig the former Hammond Airport Manager who says she lost her job for gender and that the airport authority illegally discussed her status in executive session. Judge Hughes hears pleas in Amite district court
In Amite the 21st Judicial District Judge Jeff Hughes presided over arraignments on Jan. 3 with defendants withdrawing not guilty pleas and entering guilty or no contest pleas. Rhonda Davis of Hammond faced felony theft with a 10 year sentence suspended and five years on probation plus restitution. Jason McHenry of Springfield pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary with time served credited and remaining five year term suspended, five years probation, $250 plus costs, and restitution. Jerry McMahon of Ponchatoula pled no contest to burglary with four counts of simple time served and remaining 12 years suspended, five years probation, and $500 plus costs.
