Dozens of Hamida sportsmen hunted Saturday for geese but few were successful. Dr. Lawson and George Elliott bagged five birds yet did not secure any. James Milde and W F Watson left a horse tied, then returned to find it gone along with both geese.
Two travelers in Pincher Creek district crash their buggy. One seeks a tool from a Swede in a nearby shanty and is told in broad dialect that no monkey ranch exists in the area, while others boast cattle, horse, hog, and sheep ranches within a few miles.
