The Posties Win Again in Canada’s Strike Fallout
W. Roger Worth argues the 42 day postal strike settlement is unfair. He contrasts postal workers earning up to 25000 dollars annually with four weeks vacation after eight years and 17 weeks maternity leave to a nutritionist job ad paying 21205 to 24403 dollars. He claims government monopoly and lack of competition empower unions to extract benefits, urging removal of the strike right from public servants.
