Kenton Leisure Club carries on with summer toasts and quilts
The Kenton Leisure Club resumes normal pace after summer events including the Westman Picnic at Oak River and a Winnipeg bus tour. Members earned a New Horizons grant for the History Book Committee, plan three quilts, raffle a Grace Kent donated quilt, and host an October 2 tea and bazaar. The club ends with a recipe for a happy day emphasizing friendliness, patience, humor, and warmth.
