Afternoon Auxiliary Met in United Mission Society Session
The Afternoon Auxiliary of the United Missionary Women met on Tuesday September 16 at 2 30 p m led by President Mrs R Thomson. Reports highlighted the Missionary Monthly urging reading. A letter of appreciation was received from Gimili Fresh Air Camp. Rev A Marlin and Rev E Stotesburg spoke on Bible study and The Good Samaritan Plan. Mrs W Cochran reviewed Concerns of a Continent with notes on Alaska Canada and intercontinental relations. Worship opened by Mrs J Ward and Scripture lessons were read on Gods sovereign ownership followed by prayer by Mrs Ward.

C G L T Reorganization Yields Junior Group Officers
Oak River reports the C G L T held a Monday reorganizing meeting in the church basement with 30 girls present forming senior and junior groups. Fourteen joined the Junior group with Ann Power as President and Patsy Greenaway as Vice President. The group plans church service duties and fundraising ideas for the next meeting. Lunch followed and a Taps closing. Cadet Squadron 220 Rivers welcomes Allan Oliver and Raymond Oliver and Rickie Walden on Thursday night.

Home and School Association Opens 1958 59 Session
The Ham tota Home and School Association held its first meeting of the 1958 59 season on September 22 in the School Auditorium with Mr Bill Pitten heigh presiding. New officers were installed including President Mrs Gladys Baker and Secretary Dane Mathison along with a teaching staff list for Grades I to XII. A social evening dinner is planned for October 27 with a guest speaker to attract new members.
