Crandall Purchases New Fire Truck For Protection

Crandall buys a new half ton truck equipped with a 500 gallon pressure tank for fire protection. John Mitchell of Vancouver British Columbia was killed when his F 86 Sabre Jet crashed into the sea near Moncton New Brunswick on Tuesday September 14. Johnny Mitchell was once a student in Hamiota Manitoba in 1983 when his parents left for Vancouver BC.

The Ham Leta Evening Auxiliary held its first fall meeting at Mrs. E. R. Strong's home with 29 attending. President Mrs. C. Randell led the session after worship.
