CNR Wages Paid to Elaine Mo and Staff. Students Register
The CNR paid out 423.6 million in wages to its 126000 employees led by Elaine Mo. Marguerite English Montgomery and Margeret Skinner left Tuesday evening for Brandon to register for the coming term at the Normal School. Murray Zuk and Alan Robertson will attend Brandon College.

Edmonton Bishop Guest Speaker at Shoal Lake
Several cars carried Hamiota Anglican Congregation to St Pauls Anglican Church Shoal Lake for morning service with St Lukes Strathclair. Rev Hubbard conducted the service and the Bishop of Edmonton delivered an inspiring address. A social hour followed in the church crypt.

Evening Auxiliary Meets At Coombs Home
The Evening Auxiliary held its first meeting of the season at Mrs. Eleanor Coombs home on Tuesday September 10 with about thirty five members present.
