New Co op site readies work crews for Hamiota unit
Wanda Strachan reports on the Hamiota Co op planning a new 7132 square foot facility across Maple Ave from the old outlet. Hussman Construction will prepare the site with footings poured as mid October metal arrives. Groundwork and footing pours begin soon with a planned Dec 9 opening if all goes to plan, funded by a mix of Co op savings Federated Co operatives Limited and Hamiota Credit Union. A sod turning on Sept 10 will begin construction.
