Miniota Council OKs five year sewer maintenance pact

Miniota Manitoba council met September 5 1979 with all members present. A five year agreement with Municipal Sewer Maintenance Limited was approved for cleaning sewers in the village. Tenders for land sales were accepted and financial statements were reviewed by the finance committee.

Wheat Board Advisory Committee Report from Sept 4 1979

The Wheat Board Advisory Committee met with eleven members three Commissioners and senior staff present. Barley quotas A and B are terminated due to slow producer deliveries and lower carryover than expected. Export outlook for 1979 80 aims at 22 million tonnes with exports reasonable for the first month of the year.
