Seniors Enjoy Gopherville Outing Across Manitoba towns

Senior Support Services reports a successful trip for 28 participants. They traveled from Hamiota to Gopherville with Handi-Van and cars, enjoyed lunch, shopping, a garden tour, a train ride, miniature golf and a museum visit. Return to Hamiota around 8 pm. A health fair is planned in Hamiota September 14 with three speakers and a nutrition and exercise break.

Hort Line inquiries rise at Manitoba Agriculture

40th Anniversary Celebration for Jim and Jean Daniel

Jim and Jean Daniel celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on August 5 1989 with a supper social in Kenton. About 100 relatives and friends attended with family members named and out of town guests listed. A banner was presented to Heather Houston and a World Championship banner noted, followed by fireworks and a weekend of visiting and camping.
