Double Ring Wedding in Hamiota Joins Edith Brown and Frederick Zmetana
Edith Lois Brown, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Brown of Hamiota, wed Frederick Williams Zmetana of Brandon in a ceremony at United Church Hamiota. Rev R Clark officiated. Guests came from Moose Jaw Brandon New Jersey New Westminster Winnipeg and more. The reception followed for about 115 guests. The couple planned travel to Seattle and other western points before settling in Rivers Manitoba.

Geraldine Frances Scott and John Doroshuk wed at McConnell United Church August 4 with a large reception in Brandon. The couple plans a honeymoon to Minot and U S sites before settling in Margaret Manitoba. A second ceremony united Dorothy Goodwill and George Johnston at St Pauls United Church August 6 with guests from Souris Hamiota and beyond. They will reside in Port Arthur Ontario.
