BRSD Board Grants Maternity Leaves and School Updates
At the Oct 9 BRSD board meeting, Lisa Martin and Janice Norrie were granted maternity and parental leaves for 1996/97 dates. Patti Bonnell's resignation from Foxwarren School was accepted. The board approved office renovations, vehicle purchase funding, and 1996/97 grants to local arts groups. Several principals and head teachers were listed for 1996/97, and attendance at the Annual School Superintendent Conference was approved. The Miniota School was directed to provide religious exercises per a Public Schools Act clause. The next BRSD meeting is Oct 30 at 7:30 p.m.
