Canada announces sale of Savings Bonds starting October 26 with a 9 percent first year return. Individual purchase limit is 75000 dollars. Bonds available through banks trust companies investment dealers credit unions or Payroll Savings Plan at work. 1980 Series 35 bonds mature this year with no further interest on November 1 1987. Series 1 34 issued in 1980 have already matured check old bonds before reinvesting.
