Promotional items include free 29c children aspirin with purchase of 79c regular aspirin. Also offers Pond's hand lotion in 37c and 66c sizes, Listerine toothpaste for decay protection, and Blistex cold sore and lip balm. Limited time.
The St John Ambulance Class met on October 9 with Dr E D Hudson as Medical Instructor and 26 ladies taking the course. A rear tap at the fire hall adds town drinking water, and a basement auditorium is planned for community use. Initial cost set at $46,500 and service expected January 1954.
