Sheridan benefit draws crowd for Alan Sheridan fund
A benefit social in the Hamiota complex drew over 500 local supporters to aid Alan Sheridan and his family. Mavis George provided music as Dr R Brandon Thorpe outlined Sheridan's rare cancer and need to travel to Seattle for treatment. Funds raised fell short of the total cost, with accounts set up at local banks and ongoing donations hoped to cover the gap.
