MHAA marks 50th anniversary at annual convention
Manitoba Health Auxiliary Association held its 50th anniversary convention October 4 to 6 at the Holiday Inn West in Winnipeg.168 delegates from 59 auxiliaries heard Dr. Brock J. Wright outline health care reform and regional authority plans while Katherine Kelly urged leadership in change. The event featured a workshop, banquets, and the installation of new MHAA president Mabel Pratt and her team.

The Hamiota District Hospital Auxiliary held its 400th meeting on September 27. A resolution approved payment of outstanding bills. The 50th Anniversary Tea for the Manitoba Women's Hospital Auxiliary followed at Birch Lodge.
