Eastern Star Branch Keeps Busy Through Summer
Royal York 30 members stayed active in July and August with a July potluck at Salt Lake hosted by Sister Jean Watson. Events included Aug 19 cake for Morley House residents and an Sept 12 tea and bake sale in Ukrainian Hall celebrating Canada’s 125th birthday. The Sept 22 grand matron visit in Shoal Lake drew 61 attendees and featured a roast pork banquet, decorations, and remarks by Mary Girling and Barbara McGregor.
