Terry Fox Run in Hamiota Raises $1011 for Cancer Society
On September 18, 56 participants completed 5 or 10 km routes starting and finishing at the Hamiota Health Centre. Despite cool wet weather, the Terry Fox Dream lived on as pledges totaled 1011 for Canadian Cancer Society research. Jennifer McConnell, possibly the youngest participant, helped mark the day with community volunteers assisting at registration.
