Hamiota preschool classes held a fall studio party in church rooms on November 17 at 3 p.m. Twenty six children performed singing, action games and rhythm band pieces for their mothers aided by piano pupils of Mrs. John Whyte. Local Business Men Form Hamtiota Business Men Club
Thirty three business men gathered in the Community Room on November 22 to organize a civic club named Hamtiota Business Men Club. Pr Ed Hudson chaired the meeting which planned monthly dinners and a rotating alliance with the Ladies Legion. A committee led by F M Manwaring R Watt and N Woods set the next gathering for January 10 and discussed Christmas decorations for both business and residential areas.
