The Harmota Kareful Rookers 4 H Club thanks contributors and assisting artists for the Powder Puff Minstrel Show. Special thanks go to Dor een Edwards Phyllis Park and others plus the Hamiota Echo for advertising. About 5000 dollars was raised for the Hamota Memorial Rink Fund.

Hamiota Receives Good Roads Certificate
Constable G A Duchart traveled to Winnipeg on Friday November 12 to receive a special Honourable Mention Certificate for the Village of Hamiota. The Manitoba Good Roads Association awards trophies shields and certificates for best residential areas and well kept roads or improvements. A banquet at Marlborough Hotel featured Hon E Prefontaine presenting the framed certificate to Mr. Duchart for Hamiota’s neat lawns boulevards homes gardens and lanes.
