The Hamiota Happy Gang card club reorganized for the Winter Season on Wednesday November 6 at 2 p.m. Six tables of fifty with two spares and three kitchen helpers. An organizational meeting followed with a motion to keep current insurance. Upcoming events include bingo on the last Wednesday of each month and entertainment on the second Wednesday or when convenient. Special Olympics grants approved for Manitoba programs
Minister Larry Des jardins announced a 60000 grant from the Manitoba Jobs Fund and the Manitoba Government Employees Association Trust Fund to develop programs for Special Olympics members.
