The U C W gathered at Mrs W Brown's home on November 3 at 8 pm with 10 members and 2 visitors. Remembrance Day devotional prepared by Mrs E Westwood and Mrs W Riddell opened the meeting chaired by Mrs Brown. Officers for 1978 79 were nominated, a full slate reported, and a donation to Oakner Church planned. A Christmas gift exchange was announced and a social hour followed the lunch.
