Italian Online Class Behind the Basement Door
Bill Hall describes an online Italian course run by a mysterious California professor. In a six-person, anonymous chat group, students type phrases and receive corrections, print transcripts, submit homework by email, and memorize vocabulary with maps of Italy. He notes reduced pace vs in person but gains access to professional guidance, extra materials, and ongoing practice with his anonymous amici web.
