National Volleyball Team to Demonstrate Skills in Hamiota
Canada's National Volleyball Team visits Hamiota Collegiate on Saturday November 18 with a 7 p.m demonstration of core skills followed by an intersquad match at 8 p.m. Eleven team members plus John Paulsen director will participate. The roster includes Greg Russell Charles Parkinson Tom Jones Bob Matwichuk Paul Gratton Al Kostuik Dean Hitchcock Stelio Derocco and other players in early careers.

Farewell Held for Chappells at McConnell Home
Neighbors gathered November 5 at Ron and Nora McConnell’s home to bid George and Phyllis Chappell farewell as they move to Brandon. Corsages and gifts included a crystal vase and toaster oven. Don Pollock spoke on the Chapell years in McConnell. George thanked guests and invited visits in Brandon. A social hour and lunch followed hosted by the south group.
