Foresters fold after 103 years in Hamiota
The Canadian Order of Foresters No. 367 in Hamiota has folded after 102 years of service. The lodge, once a bustling center with bi monthly meetings and events, dissolved its charter amid dwindling membership and will distribute its assets to four local projects including the swimming pool and Pioneer Museum. The regalia will be displayed at the Hamiota Pioneer Museum for posterity.
