Grant Aid for Manitoba Teams to 1981 Canada Games

Manitoba funds announced to select and train its 291 athletes, coaches and managers for the 1981 Canada Summer Games in Thunder Bay August 9 to 22. Seventeen sports share $50,000 with a minimum of $100 per athlete or coach. The Games run biennially since 1967 with 3,000+ athletes from ten provinces and two territories competing.

Courts to Hear Provincial Challenges Against Federal Action
