Miniota Rural Council Holds May 17 1989 Meeting
The Miniota council met May 17 1989 at 9:00 a.m. with Reeve J.M. Hanlin presiding. Minutes from April meetings were adopted. Officials discussed by law readings, land sale to Weselak, officer appointments, and council attendance at various events. A request to form a Upper Assiniboine Conservation District and a protest against Portage la Prairie base closure were approved. Accounts totaling $28,354.00 were authorized for payment and the next meeting set for June 13, 1989.
