One tax conspiracy that deserves a burial
The article argues that federal income tax is legal under the Constitution. It debunks anti tax claims citing the Nova Scotia v Canada and Lord Nelson cases, explains S 91 and 92 powers, and asserts federal taxation for federal purposes is lawful. It critiques the misreading of provincial direct tax power and calls for focused tax reform rather than conspiracy theories.

Dauphin fire destroys several Secord Crowe buildings
Early April blaze at Secord Crowe Greenhouses and Florists in Dauphin damaged four buildings including the flower shop seed building and two greenhouses. Fire Chief Seeley cited a possible fan origin as the plastic construction fueled rapid flames. Marilyn Crowe and Roland Secord rescued doves and cockatiels. Secord sustained burns. Fire control took about three hours while insurance covered the damaged structures.
